ABHA: The Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture in Asir met with an agricultural development team to launch a project establishing seven specialized agricultural fields.
The project includes five open demonstration fields and two for precision agriculture, aiming to modernize techniques for fruits, vegetables, dates, and field crops.
Managed by the seed and seedling center in Abha, the initiative focuses on boosting regional productivity and sustainability, the Saudi Press Agency reported on Saturday.
Through advanced farming methods and rigorous monitoring, the project supports the ministry’s broader strategy to modernize the agricultural sector.
