JAZAN: The Al-Dayer governorate pavilion at the Jazan Festival offers an immersive Saudi coffee experience, where rich aromas, traditional displays, and distinctive flavors reflect the dedication of local farmers from cultivation to cup.
The pavilion showcases green and roasted coffee beans, highlighting the agricultural diversity of southern Saudi Arabia, the Saudi Press Agency reported on Saturday.
Visitors can taste and compare flavors while engaging directly with producers, fostering a strong connection between origin and consumer.
Displays guide visitors through the stages of coffee production, including harvesting, drying, roasting, and grinding, highlighting the effort behind each cup.
Running until Feb. 15, the festival presents Saudi coffee as not only a beverage but also as a cultural and economic symbol, allowing visitors to take home both products and lasting memories of the land, heritage, and community.
The festival also features a wide range of cultural, entertainment, and folk events across the region, with programs in Jazan city, its parks, and beaches.
Activities include poetry, honey exhibitions, falconry, health, development, and sports caravans, as well as environmental and recreational events for all age groups.
The festival aims to boost domestic and international tourism, support the local economy through seasonal job opportunities for families and small and medium-sized enterprises, and promote heritage and local content.
