RIYADH: Mohammed Al-Issa, secretary-general of the Muslim World League and chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars, received Moctar Ould Dahi, ambassador of Mauritania to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. During the meeting, they discussed several topics of mutual interest.
Last week, the office of the MWL in Mauritania organized its fourth regional symposium, entitled: “The Charter of Building Bridges Between Islamic Schools of Thought and Sects and Its Role in Promoting the Values of Unity and Islamic Solidarity.”
A number of scholars and intellectuals from the Islamic world participated in the event, the MWL said on X.
The symposium was attended by several of Mauritania’s senior scholars, as well as ministerial and diplomatic figures, researchers, academics, media professionals, and postgraduate students.
