WASHINGTON: Saudi Arabia on Friday were placed in Group H alongside Spain, Cape Verde and Uruguay in the draw for the 2026 World Cup.
Saudi Arabia earned AFC qualification for the showpiece tournament in October — booking a place at the tournament for a seventh time.
Meanwhile, Cape Verde will be making their debut appearance at the World Cup.
Spain, among the tournament favourites, and Uruguay, a historically strong side, will pose major tests for the Green Falcons.
