Croatian PM receives GCC chief in Dubrovnik

  • They reviewed relations between the GCC and Croatia, and discussed ways to develop and strengthen ties to serve mutual interests

DUBROVNIK: Gulf Cooperation Council Secretary-General Jasem Albudaiwi was received by Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic at the Dubrovnik Forum in Dubrovnik, Croatia, on Saturday.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed the “latest developments in free trade agreement negotiations and a proposal to hold a joint Gulf-European conference on energy security,” the General Secretariat said in a report.

They also reviewed relations between the GCC and Croatia, and discussed ways to develop and strengthen ties to serve mutual interests.

Saudi FM arrives in Germany ahead of Munich Security Conference

  • Prince Faisal and other dignitaries are scheduled to discuss key regional and international issues, as well as challenges facing global security and stability

RIYADH: Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan arrived in Munich on Thursday to head the Kingdom’s delegation participating in the Munich Security Conference, the Saudi Press Agency reported.

The Kingdom's delegation to the conference includes Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Special Envoy for Climate Affairs Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir, Governor of the National Cybersecurity Authority Majed bin Mohammed Al-Mazyed, and CEO of the Center for Strategic Defense Studies and Research Major General Fahd bin Hamad Al-Otaibi.

Prince Faisal and other dignitaries are scheduled to discuss key regional and international issues, as well as challenges facing global security and stability at the conference.

The 62nd Munich Security Conference will take place from February 13 to 15.
