KSrelief provides food and shelter assistance in three Syrian cities 

RIYADH: Saudi Arabia provided food, shelter and winter kits to the Syrian people through its aid agency, KSrelief, as part of several humanitarian missions across Syria. 
The agency on Wednesday distributed bags of flour, winter kits and personal care kits to 132 families in the city of Al-Rastan in Homs, benefitting 626 individuals. 
KSrelief also distributed food parcels and health kits to 1,455 families in the Afrin and Azaz regions in Aleppo, benefiting 8,730 individuals. 
KSrelief on Thursday distributed 1,224 bags of flour, food baskets, personal care bags and shelter kits to 306 families in the city of Douma.
The efforts are part of Saudi Arabia’s ongoing commitment to deliver humanitarian assistance aimed at alleviating the suffering of the Syrian people.

Saudi FM discusses developments in Gaza Strip and West Bank with Palestinian VP

RIYADH: Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan discussed the situation in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank during a meeting with the Vice President of Palestine Hussein Al-Sheikh in Riyadh on Wednesday.

Discussions included the dire humanitarian conditions faced by the residents of Gaza, the Israeli escalation in the West Bank, and Israel’s ongoing violations of the ceasefire, Saudi Press Agency reported.

The two officials highlighted the importance of ensuring the unimpeded delivery of humanitarian aid, releasing Palestinian Authority funds, protecting the Palestinian banking system, committing to the implementation of President Donald Trump’s comprehensive peace plan, and the Kingdom’s support for a reform program launched by President Mahmoud Abbas.

Appreciation for Trump’s efforts was expressed and the importance of linking the Gaza Strip with the West Bank was emphasized.

Continuing efforts in coordination with friendly countries and international partners to ensure the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, including the realization of an independent state with East Jerusalem as its capital, were also discussed.
