Pakistan, Saudi Arabia women’s international friendly match ends in 1-1 draw in Doha

  • Saudi Arabia took a 1-0 lead in the first half of the match
  • Pakistan’s Suha Hirani equaled the score in the 88th minute

KARACHI: A FIFA International Friendly match between women’s national football teams of Pakistan and Saudi Arabia ended in a 1-1 draw at the Hamad bin Khalifa Stadium in Doha on Saturday, the Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) said.
Saudi Arabia took a 1-0 lead in the first half of the match as Tala Al-Ghamdi scored a goal in the 39th minute.
Pakistan equaled the score toward the end of the second half.
“Suha Hirani from the Pakistan side equaled the score with a goal on corner kick in the 88th minute,” the PFF said.
Pakistan completed a three-day training camp under the guidance of Head Coach Adeel Rizki for the encounter between the two sides.
Pakistan women were last seen in a friendly international fixture against Bangladesh in October when the two sides met in the SAFF Women’s Championship. Pakistan and Bangladesh also drew the match 1-1.
