Saudi defense minister received by counterpart in Rome

  • Prince Khalid and Crosetto held a meeting in the presence of their delegations, during which they reviewed Saudi-Italian relations

RIYADH: Saudi Minister of Defense Prince Khalid bin Salman was received by his Italian counterpart Guido Crosetto during an official visit to Rome on Tuesday, Saudi Press Agency reported.

The ministers reviewed a guard of honor and a luncheon was held in honor of Prince Khalid. 

Prince Khalid and Crosetto held a meeting in the presence of their delegations, during which they reviewed Saudi-Italian relations.

Prospects of defense cooperation and ways to enhance and develop it in order to achieve the aspirations of the two countries were also discussed. 

The ministers also discussed the latest regional and international developments, and topics of common interest.

Saudi FM arrives in Germany ahead of Munich Security Conference

  • Prince Faisal and other dignitaries are scheduled to discuss key regional and international issues, as well as challenges facing global security and stability

RIYADH: Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan arrived in Munich on Thursday to head the Kingdom’s delegation participating in the Munich Security Conference, the Saudi Press Agency reported.

The Kingdom's delegation to the conference includes Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Special Envoy for Climate Affairs Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir, Governor of the National Cybersecurity Authority Majed bin Mohammed Al-Mazyed, and CEO of the Center for Strategic Defense Studies and Research Major General Fahd bin Hamad Al-Otaibi.

Prince Faisal and other dignitaries are scheduled to discuss key regional and international issues, as well as challenges facing global security and stability at the conference.

The 62nd Munich Security Conference will take place from February 13 to 15.
