Saudi crown prince, Pakistan army chief discuss military cooperation 

JEDDAH: Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman received Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff Lt. Gen. Asim Munir on Wednesday in Jeddah.

During the meeting, the officials focused on military cooperation between the Kingdom and Pakistan, and addressed other areas of mutual concern, the Saudi Press Agency reported.

Officials at the meeting from Saudi Arabia included Defense Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman, Minister of State and National Security Advisor Dr. Musaed bin Mohammed Al-Aiban, and Ambassador to Pakistan Nawaf Al-Malki.

Pakistan’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Ahmed Farooq was also present, along with other key officials.

LONDON: Saudi Arabia’s foreign minister, Prince Faisal bin Farhan, and the Palestinian prime minister, Mohammed Mustafa, on Tuesday discussed the latest developments in Gaza.

During their meeting, which took place at the annual gathering of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, they also reviewed bilateral relations and cooperation, the Saudi Press Agency reported.

Other Saudi officials present at the meeting included the Kingdom’s ambassador to Switzerland, Abdulrahman Al-Dawood; the director general of the Office of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Waleed Al-Ismail; and Mohammed Alyahya, an advisor to the foreign minister.
