RIYADH: Saudi Arabia’s General Authority for Survey and Geospatial Information has appointed Fatma Al-Shammari as its spokesperson and media advisor.
This aim of this strategic move is to enhance the authority’s media and communication strategies, the Saudi Press Agency reported on Wednesday.
Al-Shammari, who previously worked as a journalist and anchor at TV news channel Al Arabiya, holds a master’s degree in project management and technology leadership, and a bachelor’s degree in international business administration.
The authority plays a critical role in organizing, supervising, improving and monitoring the surveying and geospatial information sector, working with the public and private sectors, academia and individuals.
