RIYADH: Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan received UK Foreign Secretary James Cleverly on Wednesday in Riyadh, state news agency SPA reported.
During the meeting, they discussed the latest developments in Gaza.
Prince Faisal bin Farhan repeated the Kingdom’s position in rejecting the targeting of civilians in any form, stressing the need for an immediate cessation of the military escalation, and lifting the siege on Gaza.
He urged the UK, as a permanent member of the Security Council, to work toward ensuring that the council fulfills its responsibility to maintain international peace and security.
