DAMMAM: Saudi Arabia got the World Club Handball Championship Super Globe 2023 underway in Dammam on Tuesday.
With 12 clubs participating, the event will run until Nov. 12.
The Saudi Al-Khaleej team lost to Magdeburg of Germany 20-29 in the third group competitions, while the Saudi Al-Nour team were defeated 20-38 by Al-Ahly of Egypt on the opening day.
The remaining clubs in the competition include Bahrain, Argentina, and Spain.
Saudi Arabia is hosting the championship for the fourth time in a row.
