RIYADH: Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman received a phone call from Russian President Vladimir Putin, the state-run SPA news agency announced on Wednesday.
During the call, they discussed relations between the two countries and means of developing cooperation in various fields.
The two sides also exchanged views on a number of issues and matters of common concern.

Al-Sudais launches charity campaign in Makkah
MAKKAH: Sheikh Abdulrahman Al-Sudais, the president of the General Presidency for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques, has launched the Al-Jood Menna Wa Feena (Generosity Springs From Us and Returns to Us) campaign — affiliated with the Jood Housing platform — in Makkah.
Al-Sudais said that the presidency’s participation in the campaign stemmed from a sense of social responsibility and was a reinforcement of the values of solidarity encouraged by religion.
He also expressed his gratitude to King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for their gracious patronage of charitable works which helped to serve the interest of citizens while ensuring a good and stable life.
