RIYADH, 13 June — There’s an added incentive for those who intend to attend the Independence Day celebration at the Philippine Embassy in Riyadh on Friday.
Apart from being treated to a concert by singing starts Randy Santiago and actress Vina Morales, medical and dental health volunteers from the Pinoy community will be providing free services.
Spearheaded by the nurses’ group NaRS*, Bicol Saro and the dental group of Mr. Macky, the mission, which opens at 9 a.m. will provide free blood pressure checking, height aand weight  evaluation with dietary counseling as applicable, and free dental evaluation  and immediate care.
A first-aid booth and a well clinic will be put up at the embassy grounds, said NaRS* official Ameurfina Silo.
She said the event will also give NaRS* the opportunity to collect certain data which will enable the group to plan similar activities in future.
A tiangge or fair is also being put up by other community groups tomorrow at the embassy ground.  (A.N.)
