HADRAMOUT: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center concluded the third voluntary training program in Al-Mukalla, Yemen, in cooperation with the General Organization for Technical and Vocational Training and the Saudi Red Crescent Authority.
During the program, training courses were provided, including carpentry and decoration, benefiting 80 people, computer maintenance, benefiting 83 people, maritime rescue, benefiting 16 divers, and first aid and psychological counseling, benefiting 821 people.
In May, the supervisor general of the center discussed the humanitarian situation in Yemen with the charge d’affaires of the US Embassy. During the meeting, Dr. Abdullah Al-Rabeeah and Martina Strong also discussed ways to address the COVID-19 pandemic and reduce the health risks posed to countries in need.
