Saudi aid agency concludes medical campaign in Djibouti

DJIBOUTI: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center recently concluded a voluntary medical campaign for children’s heart diseases in Djibouti.

The center’s medical team performed eight successful cardiac catheterizations for children.

Djibouti’s Minister of Health Dr. Ahmed Robleh extended his thanks to Saudi Arabia, represented by KSrelief, for its humanitarian efforts, noting that the center was the first to perform these operations for children in Djibouti.

The minister also praised the distinguished historical relations between the two countries.

This medical campaign was part of the voluntary medical campaigns being implemented by KSrelief to help families with low incomes in several countries.

MUNICH: Prince Faisal bin Farhan, Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs, held separate telephone conversations on Saturday with Indonesian Foreign Minister Sugyono and Pakistani Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar.

The discussions focused on bilateral relations and a range of regional and international issues of mutual interest, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
