LONDON: The Royal Saudi Naval Forces (RSNF) concluded a joint exercise in the south of the Greek island of Crete in the Mediterranean, with the participation of a number of countries.
Rear Admiral Mohammed Al-Gharibi, RSNF deputy commander, attended the conclusion of the exercise, on behalf of Chief of the General Staff Lt. Gen. Fayyad Al-Ruwaili, the Saudi defense ministry said on Wednesday.
The Medusa-11 exercise included a number of naval battle maneuvers, formations and amphibious operations, including storming coastlines, as well as an air show of combat helicopters and aircraft equipped with anti-submarine systems.

Saudi crown prince holds telephone call with Russian president
RIYADH: Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman held a telephone conversation today with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Tuesday, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
During the call, the two leaders reviewed Saudi-Russian relations. They also discussed existing areas of cooperation between the two countries and ways to support and develop them, SPA added.
Regional and international developments and a number of issues of common interest were also discussed.
