Saudi Foreign Minister meets with US Mideast official

DUBAI: Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah met Saturday with US Assistant Secretary of State for Middle Eastern Affairs Yael Lambert to review strategic ties linking both countries, state agency SPA reported.

They discussed regional and international issues of common interest, with strengthening security and stability in the Middle East and efforts to lay the foundations for peace a top priority.

During the meeting in Paris, they also reviewed historical relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United States of America and ways to enhance them in all areas of cooperation and joint coordination.

Saudi crown prince joins Kuwaiti counterpart in condemning Iranian attacks on GCC states

RIYADH: The crown princess of Saudi Arabia and Kuwait have jointly condemned the Iranian attacks which have taken place on the their and the other GCC countries, the Saudi Press Agency reported on Friday.

Speaking on the phone the two said the attacks constitute a violation of their countrys’ sovereignty, their security and the safety of their people.

They added that attacks also had serious repercussions on regional and international security and stability.

Iran has been firing on numerous countries since Saturday after the US and Israel launched an attack on Iran.
