Kuwait approves Johnson & Johnson Covid vaccine

DUBAI: Kuwait has approved the COVID-19 vaccine developed by Johnson & Johnson, the state-news agency KUNA reported on Tuesday.
It is the fourth vaccine approved by Kuwait after those of Pfizer BioNTech , AstraZeneca and Moderna.

UAE foils cyberattacks, state news agency says

ABU DHABI: ‌The United Arab Emirates ​has thwarted organized cyberattacks targeting the country’s digital infrastructure and ‌vital ‌sectors, ​the ‌state ⁠news ​agency said ⁠on Saturday.
The attacks “included attempts to infiltrate networks, deploy ransomware ⁠and conduct ‌systematic ‌phishing ​campaigns targeting ‌national platforms,” ‌and involved artificial intelligence technologies to develop ‌offensive tools, it added. The report ⁠did ⁠not say who was to blame for the attacks.
