World’s biggest football production hub in Pakistan hit hard by Covid-19 pandemic

January 26: Nearly 70 per cent of the world’s footballs are manufactured in the city of Sialkot in eastern Pakistan. As the coronavirus pandemic that has forced the suspension of organised matches and most playgrounds to close, has left the Pakistani football production hub struggling to survive a massive drop in demand for footballs.
