Wahdan Al-Kadi, executive director at Saudi Arabia's Tourism Development Fund

Wahdan Al-Kadi was recently appointed as executive director of the business sector of the Tourism Development Fund. He has also been the fund’s chief commercial officer since June 2020.

He completed his bachelor’s degree in industrial management from the King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, Dhahran in 2000. He later received his Executive Master of Business Administration degree from the same university in 2010.

Prior to his current position, Al-Kadi worked at Samba Financial Group as manager assistant between September 2001 and January 2003 and manager between January 2003 and April 2004. Between April 2004 and October 2009, he worked at Hoshan Holding Group as senior vice president. He then worked at Ras Al-Salam Holding Co. between January 2010 and January 2011.

He served as a director at the Technical and Vocational Training Corp. between February 2011 and May 2012 and was an investment committee member at MaCeen Capital between July 2015 and July 2017.

At Tharwat Holding Co., Al-Kadi worked as an investment consultant between May 2012 and January 2013, investment and business development senior manager between January 2013 and January 2018, and portfolio director between January 2017
and January 2018.

At Lebara Mobile KSA, he was an executive committee member between May 2014 and July 2017 and a member of the audit committee between January 2016 and August 2019. He worked as an audit committee member at Al-Aseel between November 2018 and November 2019. Al-Kadi also worked as an investment adviser at the Ministry of Tourism between November 2019 and June 2020.

Saudi Arabia reaffirms commitment to the two-state solution

RIYADH: In Riyadh on Friday, Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Waleed Elkhereiji participated on behalf of Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan in the extraordinary meeting of the Open-Ended Executive Committee at the level of foreign ministers of the member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation to discuss the Israeli occupation of Palestine, the Saudi Press Agency reported. 

Elkhereiji reaffirmed the Kingdom’s support for the Global Alliance for the Implementation of the Two-State Solution and its efforts to unify international positions.

He stressed the “importance of mobilizing political and economic support and advancing practical steps that translate commitments into concrete measures and accelerate the realization of the two-state solution,” the SPA stated. 

He also restated Saudi Arabia’s commitment to continuing this path with partner countries to achieve “a just and comprehensive peace that fulfills the aspirations of the Palestinian people to self-determination and the establishment of their independent state in accordance with the Arab Peace Initiative.”
