KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia on Sunday reported 179 new coronavirus cases, raising the cumulative total to 3,662 cases as Southeast Asia’s third-largest economy grapples with the highest number of infections in the region.

The new cases include 4 deaths, raising the tally to 61 people who have died as of noon on Sunday, the health ministry said.

Unmanned drone hit runway on UK Cyprus base: British FM

LONDON: British Foreign Minister Yvette Cooper on Monday said an unmanned drone that struck a UK military base on Cyprus hit the runaway.
“This is an unmanned drone strike specifically on the airport runway... we’re not able to provide further information and detail at this point, but obviously all of the precautionary measures are being taken around the base,” Cooper told Sky News.
