RIYADH: Dr. Awwad Al-Awwad, president of the Saudi Human Rights Commission, has confirmed that under the leadership of King Salman and the crown prince, the Kingdom has designated women’s empowerment and protection as top priorities.
Al-Awwad explained that the country has taken serious steps in this direction, recording a number of achievements in the implementation of women’s rights across various institutions.
On the occasion of International Women’s Day 2020, Al-Awwad said: “With over 50 percent of our university graduates being female, we will continue to develop their talents, invest in their productive capabilities and enable them to strengthen their future and contribute to the development of our society.”
