December 17: Dawn report by Amir Wasim states that the National Assembly on Monday through a unanimously-passed resolution “condemned” the passage of the controversial Citizenship Amendment Act 2019 by the Indian parliament, terming the move an “indication of the dangerous extremist tendencies of the current (Indian) government relating to treatment of minorities in neighboring countries”.
