RIYADH: King Salman received Swiss President Ueli Maurer in Riyadh on Monday.
They reviewed opportunities to boost cooperation between Saudi Arabia and Switzerland and ways to strengthen mutual ties in various fields.
Riyadh Gov. Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdul Aziz, Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Interior Minister Prince Abdul Aziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdul Aziz, state ministers and Cabinet members Prince Mansour bin Miteb bin Abdul Aziz and Dr. Musaed bin Mohammed Al-Aiban, Finance Minister Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Jadaan and Dr. Farhan Al-Farhan, deputy head of Mission at the Saudi Embassy in Switzerland also attended the meeting.
The Swiss delegation included State Secretary for International Finance Daniela Stoffel and Swiss Ambassador Dr. Andreas Schaller.

RIYADH: Fahd Mohammad Ajmi Mnikhr presented his credentials as the ambassador of Saudi Arabia to President Ramchandra Paudel of Nepal on Tuesday.
The ceremony took place at Shital Niwas, the presidential palace, in Kathmandu.
Mnikhr conveyed greetings from the Saudi leadership to the Nepalese people, wishing them progress and prosperity, according to the Saudi Press Agency.
Paudel commended the relationship between Nepal and Saudi Arabia, wishing the Kingdom and its people continued progress and prosperity, the SPA added.
