Saudi commander makes Eid visit to injured troops

  • Al-Mutair conveyed the greetings and deep appreciation of King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and wished them a quick recovery

On the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr, Commander of the Royal Saudi Land Forces Lt. Gen. Fahd Al-Mutair visited members of the armed forces injured in operations Decisive Storm and Restoring Hope, at Prince Sultan Military Medical City.

Al-Mutair conveyed the greetings and deep appreciation of King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and wished them a quick recovery.

“You are the heroes of this nation. What you have been through as you were defending your religion and country is a great honor,” he said.

The injured armed forces members extended thanks to Al-Mutair for his visit and stressed their readiness to return to the field after completing their treatment, considering their injuries a badge of honor.

Saudi King Salman receives message from Russian president

  • The two officials reviewed strong relations between Saudi Arabia and Russia

RIYADH: King Salman received a written message from Russian President Vladmir Putin regarding ties between the two countries.

Russian Ambassador to the Kingdom Sergey Kozlov delivered the message to Saudi Deputy Foreign Minister Waleed Elkhereiji in Riyadh, the Foreign Ministry wrote in a post on X on Tuesday. 

The two officials reviewed strong relations between Saudi Arabia and Russia and discussed the latest regional and international developments, as well as the efforts made in this regard.
