Prince Saud bin Abdulaziz elected chairman of Saudi autism society

  • Prince Saud also vowed to take every step necessary for the achievement of the society’s short and long-term goals

JEDDAH: The Charitable Society of Autism Families has elected Prince Saud bin Abdulaziz bin Fahd Al-Farhan Al-Saud as chairman of its board of directors.
The meeting of the general assembly took place at the King Faisal Conference Hall in Riyadh, and was attended by 51 permanent members and six acting members, in addition to 24 members approved by the Labor Ministry to join the board of directors and the representatives of the Social Development Center.
The assembly also elected Naif bin Fahd Mohamed bin Suaidan as vice chairman, and Moaidh Abdullah Saeed Al-Zahrani as treasurer.
Prince Saud bin Fahd Al-Farhan thanked the board members for electing him. He also vowed to take every step necessary for the achievement of the society’s short and long-term goals.

Saudi deputy ministers receive Swedish ambassador and UNDP representative

Saud Al-Sati, Saudi Arabia’s deputy minister for political affairs, received Sweden’s Ambassador to the Kingdom Petra Menander in Riyadh. 

Separately, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs for Economic and Development Affairs Abdullah bin Zarah received the UN Development Programme’s resident representative in the Kingdom, Nahid Hussein, in Riyadh. 

During the meetings, all sides discussed bilateral relations and issues of common interest, the foreign ministry said on X on Wednesday.
