March 23 is a day to remember the tireless endeavors of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and his team who overcame all the treacherous and deceitful conspiracies against the Muslims of India to attain an independent piece of land on which they could live and practice their religion freely.
Pakistan came into being for a specific divine cause and we, the Pakistani people, will fight against any calamity or wicked intention to keep our flag soaring high.
Around the globe, the people of Pakistan are celebrating the anniversary of Pakistan Resolution Day, March 23, 1940, which came about under the inspirational leadership of the father of the nation.
While Resolution Day stands as a landmark amid many distinguished events in the creation of our country, it is also a day to reiterate our national resolve and pledge our endeavors to ensure a peaceful, prosperous and strong country.
This day demands of us that we renew our convictions and act upon the timeless ideologies of our forefathers to cherish this blessing.
On this day of pledges, I extend my heartfelt felicitation to all Pakistanis around the world and express my cordial gratitude to King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for sharing our mutual cohesion not only in moments of happiness but in times of trial and tribulation as well.
