JEDDAH: The rector of Al-Baha University, Dr. Abdullah bin Yahya Al-Hussein, on Sunday received Swedish Ambassador Jan Knutsson.
During the meetings, they discussed issues related to international cooperation and cultural exchange between the Saudi university and Swedish educational institutions.
Saudi Arabia is Sweden’s largest trading partner in the region.
The Swedish presence in Saudi Arabia is longstanding and involves companies, business persons, doctors and engineers who have participated in the development of the public and private sector as well as in important infrastructure project — and they continue to do so.

Saudi foreign minister arrives in Poland on official visit

LONDON: Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs, Prince Faisal bin Farhan, arrived in the Polish capital, Warsaw, on an official visit on Sunday.
He is scheduled to meet on Monday with Radoslaw Sikorski, the Polish Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
They will discuss relations between the two countries and ways to strengthen them across various fields, SPA added.
