ISTANBUL: The Turkish lira traded at 5.2550 against the dollar early on Tuesday, after weakening to a record 5.4250 late on Monday over investor worries about relations between Ankara and Washington.
At the current level, the lira has lost more than 27 percent of its value against the US currency so far this year.
