UN General Assembly to hold meeting on US designation of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital (Source: Daily Pakistan)

Daily Pakistan report by Mahmud Idris from New York states that the UN General Assembly is to hold an emergency meeting today on request of Turkey and Yemen on behalf of the Arab states and OIC to vote on a resolution against the US recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. The United States has threatened to suspend aid to UN member states who would vote against the US during the meeting.
