Arab News report by M. Ishtiaq states that Saudi Deputy Defense Minister Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Aysh met with Pakistani Defense Minister Khurram Dastagir in Islamabad on 12 November and discussed bilateral ties and defense cooperation. According to Pakistani Foreign Office, Riyadh is seeking Islamabad’s support in training Saudi forces in the fields of counterterrorism, asymmetric warfare and mountain fighting, while Islamabad is seeking Riyadh’s diplomatic support for brining cease-fire violations by India along the Line of Control in Kashmir to an end.
