Voice of America report by Ayaz Gul, from Islamabad, states that Islamabad and Washington continue to engage in talks to resolve bilateral differences over the Afghan war that had emerged following the US President Donald Trump’s new policy on Afghanistan and South Asia in August this year. Pakistani Foreign Office Spokesman Dr. Muhammad Faisal had cited “difference in understanding and perception on both sides” as the reason behind strain in bilateral ties.
