Release of un-designated terrorist in Pakistan concerning news for Washington

PBS commentary by Larisa Epatko states in nutshell that Pakistan released Hafiz Saeed, a UN-designated terrorist on whom the United States has announced a bounty of $10 million. Saeed is allegedly involved Mumbai attacks that killed 166, including six US nationals, in 2008. The United States has expressed deep concerns over Saeed’s release and demanded of Pakistani authorities to arrest and implicate him, a failure to which would prove adverse for bilateral relations of the two countries.
