JEDDAH: Saudi Arabia has extended this year’s Islamic Eid Al-Fitr holiday by one week, Saudi Press Agency announced on Wednesday.
The announcement came as part of royal decrees which replaced Crown Prince Mohammed bin Nayef with Mohammed bin Salman, previously deputy crown prince.
Government employees to start the holiday season on Sunday and are expected to resume on July 9 instead of July 1.

RIYADH: Fahd Mohammad Ajmi Mnikhr presented his credentials as the ambassador of Saudi Arabia to President Ramchandra Paudel of Nepal on Tuesday.
The ceremony took place at Shital Niwas, the presidential palace, in Kathmandu.
Mnikhr conveyed greetings from the Saudi leadership to the Nepalese people, wishing them progress and prosperity, according to the Saudi Press Agency.
Paudel commended the relationship between Nepal and Saudi Arabia, wishing the Kingdom and its people continued progress and prosperity, the SPA added.
