Etihad Etisalat (Mobily) has announced its No Smoking Day initiative for its employees, which aims to encourage them to quit smoking. The day corresponding to Dec. 29 will be celebrated under the slogan ‘each cigarette avoided contributes to your health.’
The purpose of the day is to raise awareness of the importance of quitting smoking for health and environment.
This initiative falls under the umbrella of corporate culture, through which Mobily aims to create awareness among its staff regarding benefits of healthy lifestyle.
Participants who avoid smoking completely will receive a voucher card from Naqa charity association, which will provide them access to therapeutic and professional support to quit smoking. Once the process is completed, there is a positive impact on vital functions of body, including the heart and the lungs.
