Saudi designer Al-Hanouf Mazen Al-Qabasani founded Dar Al-Hanouf in 2012 as a high-end bridal couture atelier that is currently one of the top destinations for bridal attire in the Kingdom.
At a young age, Al-Hanouf developed a love of fashion and luxury. Her passion for fabrics and design led to her creating her first collection at the age of 19.
She successfully sold out her debut bridal gown collection in 2012. She established her first atelier the following year, specializing in luxurious wedding gowns in Jeddah.
Despite her youth, Al-Hanouf became one of the Kingdom’s most high-profile designers, specializing in both bridal couture and demi-couture. She is also a bridal consultant and creative director. Her attention to detail sets her apart in the world of bridal attire.
Dar Al-Hanouf is known for its exceptional design and embroidery craftsmanship. To create her classic pieces, Al-Hanouf sources the finest French lace and haute couture fabrics from the most prominent companies from around the world.
The Saudi Fashion Commission selected Dar Al-Hanouf to take part in several initiatives to promote the region’s fashion industry, including the Saudi 100 Brands initiative, for which the fashion house showcased its creations in New York and Riyadh.
In 2022, the house released its first occasion-wear demi-couture collection, in Milan, Italy, in cooperation with the commission’s 100 Brands initiative.
Dar Al-Hanouf received the official Swarovski accreditation certificate and became the first and only Swarovski-branded partner in Saudi Arabia in February 2017. As a close partner of the brand, Dar Al-Hanouf participated in the Swarovski Middle East Sparkling Couture Infinity event the same year and showcased its latest pieces designed for the exhibition. One exclusive piece was embellished with more than 50,000 Swarovski elements.
Dar Al-Hanouf ensures that every aspect of the bride’s appearance is taken care of, from the flawless dress to the lavish custom veil, Swarovski crystal headpieces, and luxurious footwear from the maison’s line introduced in Paris.
