Winnie Mandela dies in hospital aged 81 ANC policy chief

Winnie Mandela, the former wife of South African anti-apartheid icon Nelson Mandela, has died at the age of 81 in a Johannesburg hospital surrounded by family and loved ones, says the ANC's police chief during a press conference at the Netcare Milpark hospital.
