AlUla re-opens its door for the public

Embark on a journey between past and present as the historical crossroad AlUla finally reopened its doors for visitors on October 31st. The Royal Commission for AlUla (RCU) has unveiled the full suite of experiences that are being introduced for November and December.

Arab News was taken on a tour around the famous landmarks of the ancient city; Al-Ula Fresh Farm, Elephant Rock, Hegra UNESCO Heritage site, Hijaz Railway, Jabal Ikmah, Dadan -an ancient city built by the Lihyan civilization around 3000 years ago-, a traditional desert camp set-up Bedouin style at arch rock, and AlUla Old Town.

We got to experience adrenaline pumping activities like dune buggy riding at the Dancing Rocks, and soaring over AlUla’s famous rocks and canyons on a helicopter.
