SABIC has been awarded the prestigious Compliance Leader Verification status by the Ethisphere Institute, a global leader in defining and advancing standards of ethical business practices.
The recognition follows Ethisphere’s comprehensive independent review, evaluation, and validation of SABIC’s Ethics and Compliance program. This permits SABIC to display the Ethisphere Compliance Leader Verification logo as a recognition of the excellence of SABIC’s Ethics and Compliance program and its work in building a culture of integrity.
Led by SABIC’s legal affairs, a cross-functional team worked diligently to achieve this recognition. The team responded to a comprehensive assessment survey and submitted substantial documentary support. Senior leaders in the legal, HR, ERM, sustainability, procurement, audit and other functions participated in interviews with Ethisphere evaluators.
Laurie Gallagher, general manager and chief counsel of SABIC’s Compliance and Litigation Team, said: “This award is a testimony not only to the strength of our Ethics and Compliance Program but also to the dedication and commitment of our CEO, executive leadership, board of directors, and all SABIC employees who work with the highest integrity every day.”
