February 12 – The Eurasian Times states that Pakistan Finance Minister stated that Islamabad is very close to striking a deal with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) to obtain financial support from the global organization. This development comes after Pakistan PM Imran Khan met IMF chief Christine Lagarde on the sidelines of the World Government Summit in Dubai.
