JEDDAH: A series of photos showing Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman during a trip to one of Saudi Arabia’s most famous mountains have gone viral.

The images, shared by Royal photographer Bandar Al-Jaloud, were taken last summer at Jabal Al-Lawz (Almond Mountain) near the Kingdom’s border with Jordan.

The pictures show the crown prince and several senior ministers and officials enjoying the views from the 2,549 meter peak. In some of the images, the group are dressed in casual clothing, including shorts and baseball caps as they toured the mountain — a break from traditional government attire.

The ministers appearing next to the crown prince were Minister of Culture Prince Badr bin Farhan; Interior Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif; Minister of National Guard Prince Abdullah bin Bandar; Minister of State Turki bin Mohammad bin Fahed; Minister of Trade and Investment Majid Al-Qasabi and Yasir Al-Rumayyan, chief executive of the Saudi Public Investment Fund.
