Closer to the Kaaba
The Grand Mosque in Makkah is undergoing a massive expansion and with numbers visiting increasing each year this is a welcome thing for many worshipers.
The Mataf (circumambulation area) has been expanded which gives more worshipers at the holy site a greater chance to be closer to the Kaaba.
